Technical assistance and direction for New Jersey Health Initiatives

The Foundation's program, New Jersey Health Initiatives (NJHI), was designed to support projects in New Jersey that develop new approaches to resolving the state's health care needs, focusing on the Foundation's goal areas.This grant provides continued support for technical assistance and direction of the Foundation's NJHI. The program continues its activities in annual responsive grantmaking, strategic grantmaking, a small grants program and a management fellowship program. Following last year's grant, emphasis is on developing indicators of the program's progress and success; increasing avenues of monitoring of grantee progress; developing systems to efficiently identify project issues; and expanding IT support for grantee management (online grant making) and technical assistance.
