Faith in Action
The Foundation's program, Faith in Action®, was designed to expand the continued replication of the Interfaith Volunteer Caregivers Model, providing volunteer caregiving to people of all ages with chronic health conditions.This grant provides support to a group of 29 programs from Iowa, Kansas, Missouri and Nebraska to make extensive use of electronic communications to conduct networking activities in light of the distances between programs, as well as establishing an 800 number, audio and Web conferencing, and a network Web site with both public and member-restricted access. Development consultants will be engaged to solicit funds on behalf of the group and a regional fund-raising event will be held for the group's benefit. The network also plans to hold an annual conference.
