Explaining racial disparities in quality of care and health care utilization among black and white adults: The Chronic Illness and Caregiving Survey

The Foundation's initiative, New Connections: Bringing Diversity to RWJF Grantmaking and Increasing Secondary Data Analyses, was designed to address needs for data that can inform program planning or measure progress toward strategic objectives. New Connections brings in investigators and consultants from historically disadvantaged and underrepresented communities to lend their perspectives to RWJF programs and funds junior investigators to perform data analysis using underutilized data sets the Foundation has supported.
