The Foundation's program, A Matter of Degree: Reducing High-Risk Drinking Among College Students, was designed to develop model approaches to reduce student high-risk drinking on campus and in the surrounding community by developing college/community partnerships. This grant will allow the American Medical Association to provide technical assistance and direction to the remaining sites as this program draws to a close. Activities include monitoring grants, collaborating with the Harvard evaluation team to coordinate efforts to reduce high-risk (binge) drinking and its consequences among college students on campuses and their surrounding communities. Monthly conference calls and consulting services will support the remaining grantees to assist with budgeting, reporting, and programmatic and advocacy issues as the program is coming to a close and final reports will need to be written.
