Training multidisciplinary teams in medical/surgical units in effective communication

The Foundation's program, Transforming Care at the Bedside, was designed to develop new interventions to improve the hospital work environment with the goal of improving the quality of care provided by nurses at the bedside.The purpose of this project is to train multidisciplinary teams in medical-surgical units in effective communications using behavioral simulation techniques patterned after models for emergency clinical simulations.
