Children's Futures: Improving Health and Development Outcomes for Children in Trenton, N.J.

The Foundation's program, Children's Futures, was designed to employ a comprehensive set of interventions designed to improve the health of children in Trenton, New Jersey.This grant supports activities over the next three and one-half years which will focus on continuing the implementation of the initiative, consistent with the original proposal submitted to the Foundation. Major components include: ensuring quality implementation of major interventions; refining the model/development of additional components; implementing Phase II of the communications and awareness campaign; continuing implementation of capacity- and leadership-building program; developing linkages to policy makers; and diversifying funding sources.
