Technical assistance and direction for Active Living Research
The Foundation's Active Living Research program was designed to support investigator-initiated research to identify and assess structural, environmental, and policy changes with the potential to increase population levels of physical activity.This grant provides continued technical assistance and direction for the Physical Activity Policy and Environmental Research Initiative. Core elements will include: (1) investigator-initiated studies; (2) strategic National Program Office field-building activities; and (3) a communications component to publicize the program to relevant organizations.
