State Forums Partnership Program
The Foundation's State Forums Partnership Program was designed to establish a technical assistance center to support the adoption of the New Jersey Policy Forums on Health and Medical Care project in up to eight states.This grant supports the convening of Safe Table Forums, a neutral venue for stakeholders in Washington's health system to come together to discuss issues in health policy. These off-the-record forums are targeted to legislators and staff, state and local health and social services agencies, health services providers, health plan administrators, professional organizations, consumer advocates, and labor/trade organizations. Four forums will be presented in year one, two of which will be targeted and limited to Washington State legislators and their staff. The project will provide objective policy analysis and technical assistance to promote communication and disseminate nonpartisan information about the health system and health policy.
