Publishing a report on state policy options for Medicaid and TANF reimbursement for addiction treatment and prevention services

The nation's publicly funded substance abuse treatment system can currently meet only about half of the need for services. States, however, do have flexibility, through public programs, to increase reimbursement for treatment services. "Medicaid & TANF Reimbursement for Addiction Treatment & Prevention Services: State Policy Options" is one of the few resources available to help states and counties understand how they can leverage policy change to maximize reimbursement for services. This project will enable the Legal Action Center to design, produce, print, and mail this report to over 2,000 national, state, and local organizations.
