Assessment of the State Forums Partnership Program

The Foundation's State Forums Partnership Program was designed to establish a technical assistance center to support the adoption of the New Jersey Policy Forums on Health and Medical Care project in up to eight states.The purpose of this project is to measure the impact of state health policy forums in Kansas, Texas, and Massachusetts using telephone interviews and a short mail survey. The project team will look at collaboration among the three sites, the National Program Office, and the National Health Policy Forum to assess how they've served as robust sources of information for health policy-makers. The project team will also interview forum leaders about possible barriers to the development of forums in new states.
