The Foundation's program, Covering Kids and Families, was designed to increase the number of eligible children and adults who are benefiting from federal and state health care coverage programs. The purpose of this project is to focus on the evaluation design of the Covering Kids and Families program. The design will: (1) establish detailed evaluation questions; (2) explore the feasibility of answering those questions; (3) identify appropriate methods and existing data sources; (4) identify the reporting burden on grantees and the National Program Office associated with providing data; and (5) offer options that would enable the Foundation to prioritize issues that the evaluation should cover.
