In the Baltimore, Maryland, metropolitan area, there are many people who need eye care to preserve their vision, but lack health insurance coverage for treatment and do not qualify for medical assistance. The purpose of this project is for the Follow-Up Eye Care for the Homeless, Indigent and Uninsured Program, of the Maryland Society for Sight to identify and provide eye care and follow-up vision treatment for the homeless, indigent, and uninsured in the Baltimore metropolitan area.
