Faith in Action

The Foundation's program, Faith in Action®, was designed to expand the continued replication of the Interfaith Volunteer Caregivers Model, providing volunteer caregiving to people of all ages with chronic health conditions.This grant supports this Faith in Action program in its mission to serve the elderly in the primarily urban area of Harris County, Texas. Volunteers will provide transportation, shopping, respite care, friendly visiting, telephone reassurance, light housekeeping, personal care, meal preparation, and assistance with chores/household repair.
