The Foundation's program, Faith in Action®, was designed to expand the continued replication of the Interfaith Volunteer Caregivers Model, providing volunteer caregiving to people of all ages with chronic health conditions.Wake Forest University will serve as the National Program Office (NPO) for Faith in Action II. Prior to the decision to transfer the NPO to North Carolina, the technical assistance and direction for this program was managed by the Visiting Nurse Service of New York. During the three-month transition period, Wake Forest University will: set up a new NPO in Winston-Salem; develop and begin implementation of a technical assistance strategy for applicants and grantees; continue development and implementation of a program database; assist with the Round Two application review process; and assist in the national communications and public awareness campaign.
