Allies Against Asthma: A Program to Combine Clinical and Public Health Approaches to Chronic Illness

The Foundation's program, Allies Against Asthma: A Program to Combine Clinical and Public Health Approaches to Chronic Illness, was designed to support community-based coalitions aimed at improving efforts to control pediatric asthma.The American Lung Association of Arizona and New Mexico is one of the eight sites under The Allies Against Asthma: A Program to Combine Clinical and Public Health Approaches to Chronic Illness. This is a demonstration program designed to test the ability of community-based coalitions to mount a comprehensive attack on the remediable causes of asthma and to reduce the morbidity and loss of productivity due to pediatric asthma.
