The Foundation's program, Faith in Action®, was designed to expand the continued replication of the Interfaith Volunteer Caregivers Model, providing volunteer caregiving to people of all ages with chronic health conditions. This grant supports the Cleburne County on Aging, in rural Arkansas, in its mission to maintain that the elderly and physically disabled are able to stay in their homes for as long as possible. The Cleburne County Aging Program is the only agency in the area that provides a daily hot meal to seniors, 60 and over, and delivers frozen food to the homebound in the outlying rural areas of the County. By June 2001, they expect to deliver meals and provide in-home services for 100 older adults, and by June 2002, they will provide 140 older adults with meals and in-home services.
