Campaign to mobilize the community to address the needs of children

This grant supports the next phase of Kansas City's Partnership for Children's highly successful #1 Question Campaign: Is it Good for the Children? This phase will move the campaign from an effort to build community will for improvements in the lives of children to an effort to secure community support for, and action on behalf of, particular policies, specifically securing appropriate funding to improve and expand early childhood care and education, and workplace policies that are more family friendly. The majority of Foundation funds will pay for the production and purchase of radio, television and print advertisements to support the overall effort. The funds will also support a staff position to coordinate a citywide Leadership Strategy Panel.
