Technical assistance and direction for RWJF's Faith in Action program

The Foundation's program, Faith in Action®, was designed to expand the continued replication of the Interfaith Volunteer Caregivers Model, providing volunteer caregiving to people of all ages with chronic health conditions.This contract provides technical assistance and direction support for start-up activities for the National Program Office of Faith in Action II. The contract will develop plans and organize relationships for implementing Faith in Action during the first three months; recruit senior staff for the National Program Office (Deputy Director, Director of Communications, Technical Assistance Officer); undertake extensive travel to meet and make presentations to national foundations and philanthropic leaders involved in religion and health; conduct site visits to existing Faith in Action grantees nationwide and attend the RWJF National Program Directors meeting in Princeton, New Jersey, on November 3-5, 1999.
