Technical assistance and direction for RWJF's State Coverage Initiatives program
The Foundation's program, State Coverage Initiatives (SCI), was designed to help states develop and implement policies that expand access to health insurance coverage. This grant supports the SCI National Program Office to provide continued technical assistance and direction for the State Coverage Initiatives Program. The purpose of this effort is to market and provide a variety of products, consulting services, and other resources to states to implement or expand initiatives that increase the number of residents with health care coverage. The products will include: (1) on-site policy and technical assistance; (2) user workshops for state managers to learn from one another; (3) a diverse set of written materials, including technical manuals and research briefs; and (4) a broad set of consultants whose services can be customized to states' immediate needs.
