Substance abuse policy research symposium

This grant provides funding for a substance abuse policy symposium focusing on three critical issues in addiction: the science of addiction; prescription drug abuse in the elderly; and access to addiction treatment. The newly formed California Collaborative Center for Substance Abuse Policy Research, at the University of California, San Francisco, will host the symposium as the kickoff event for the organization.
