Financing nursing education for the 21st century
The purpose of this project is to provide: (1) a detailed analysis of the current Medicare appropriations for nursing education; (2) policy options for a redirection of funds; and (3) an analysis of the impact of changes in both funding and the health care delivery system on the supply and demand for nurses. All of this information will be provided to MedPAC and other relevant stakeholders in an effort to inform the decision-making process.
