Planning to establish the National Forum for Health Care Quality Measurement and Reporting
This grant supports the creation of a blueprint for the National Forum for Health Care Quality Measurement and Reporting, an organization stemming from recommendations of the bipartisan Advisory Commission on Consumer Protection and Quality in the Health Care Industry. The Forum is envisioned as the private sector entity for coordinating and advancing the nation's health care quality agenda. Planning for the Forum will be the primary responsibility of a task force to be named by Vice President Al Gore next month. The planning task force will be charged with resolving issues surrounding the Forum's structure, governance, and financing.
