Camden youth mentoring and enrichment program

This grant supports a project to provide inner-city children (6-17 years old) with positive alternatives, mentoring, and enrichment activities in an effort to delay their initial experimentation with and use of alcohol, tobacco, and illicit drugs. The program focuses on building self-esteem and encouraging academic achievement through an array of educational, cultural, and recreational activities. The program will target 75 children living in Camden, New Jersey's, Morgan Village neighborhood.
