America's Promise in Schools: A National Program to Encourage Schools to Deliver Life Resources to Youth

The purpose of this project is to achieve the goals of America's Promise by building local infrastructure for brokering community resources into schools. This grant will support start-up activities to bring schools and communities together to ensure children's access to the five resources being targeted by America's Promise. The project will be conducted in three phases: (1) announce and launch America's Promise in Schools; (2) mobilize and prepare schools and communities to become "Schools of Promise"; and (3) institutionalize a school-based/linked resource delivery system.
