The Foundation's Scholars in Health Policy Research Program was designed to provide postdoctoral training targeted to the most promising graduates of programs in the three disciplines of economics, political science, and sociology to advance their involvement in health policy research.The Foundation has authorized a total of $25.45 million to support stipends for up to 12 Scholars annually and administrative costs for three Program training sites (the University of California, Berkeley; the University of Michigan; and Yale University) over an 11-year period. This "cohort" grant will cover stipends and expenses for the fourth class of Scholars at Yale University.
