Development and dissemination of a safe health practices manual for use at institutions of higher education
This grant provides partial funding to the New Jersey Collegiate Consortium for Health in Education to develop a safe health practices manual and a series of training sessions aimed at the college student. The grant funds support project coordination, staffing and publication costs for the manual.The information provided through the manual and training sessions will focus on the implementation and evaluation of effective interventions on topics related to sexual health, such as the prevention of pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections and the use of alcohol and drugs in the context of sexual relationships. The manual will be made widely available and distributed to colleges, universities, and community-based organizations that conduct HIV prevention. Two training programs will be held in New Jersey.
