Briefings on expanding children's health insurance coverage

The purpose of this project is to expand the knowledge of Washington-based policy makers and journalists on the subject of children's health insurance coverage. This project will support a half-day education seminar and the production and dissemination of an issue brief, describing barriers and policy options being discussed. Nationally recognized experts will help commission and edit the content of the briefing and the issue brief which will contain background information and a source list of experts. The Alliance fills a unique niche in Washington, D.C., for press and Congressional staff in presenting topical and complex health care information in an understandable format.
