Technical assistance and direction for RWJF's Substance Abuse Policy Research Program

The Foundation's Substance Abuse Policy Research Program was designed to provide support for investigators to conduct policy research on a variety of subjects directed at helping the country reduce the harm caused by substance abuse.This grant supports technical assistance and direction to the Substance Abuse Policy Research Program. During the period of the grant, the following activities will be conducted: (1) plan, organize, and direct the activities of the National Program Office; (2) select, direct, and coordinate the work of the senior program consultants; (3) review proposals with the assistance of the consultants and Foundation staff; and (4) coordinate efforts to promote interchange of ideas and information among grantees and policy makers.
