Despite over two decades of college and university efforts to reduce alcohol on campus, no accessible summary exists of what is known about college drinking programs and policy responses or what works (or might work) to reduce college drinking and related problems. The purpose of this project is to provide Foundation staff with a review and analysis of college drinking programs. The report will include a review of past and existing college drinking programs, including evaluations where available, implications for program goals and objectives; and implications for future program development, research, and evaluation. The report will also complement findings from the Foundation-sponsored national survey of college drinking conducted by Henry Wechsler, Ph.D.
