The Foundation's Investigator Awards in Health Policy Research Program was designed to produce major works from senior and new investigators that would add to the health policy field's knowledge base.The purpose of this project is to investigate how ideas about morality affect health politics and policy. The goals of the study include: (1) designing a model of morality politics broadly applicable to health policy; (2) exploring how popular images of vice and virtue have influenced policy areas; and (3) understanding moral politics to help frame more consistent and effective health policies.
