Technical assistance and direction for RWJF's Investigator Awards in Health Policy Research program

The Foundation's Investigator Awards in Health Policy Research Program was designed to produce major works from senior and new investigators that would add to the health policy field's knowledge base.This grant provides technical assistance and direction to the Investigator Awards in Health Policy Research Program. During the period of the grant, the Foundation for Health Services Research will conduct the following activities: (1) publicize the Program through broad dissemination of Program brochures, announcements in appropriate publications, and presentations at national meetings; (2) review applications to screen out those that do not meet Program criteria; (3) assist Foundation staff in identifying a panel of reviewers to select the most promising proposals; (4) convene an advisory committee to assist in reviewing selected proposals and in making recommendations to the Foundation on those to be funded; and (5) plan the first annual meeting for Program grantees.
