During this phase, the Association will: (1) develop criteria for selecting regional or statewide implementation; (2) secure commitment of key parties; (3) establish an administrative office; (4) prepare participating facilities for implementation; and (5) develop an implementation proposal. A Steering Committee will be formed to oversee this phase and emphasis will be placed on including minority representatives. Additional funding sources will be identified for the implementation phase. The MHA will also target allied health professions such as those working in respiratory care, radiography, and physical therapy, to participate in the project.
