Technical assistance and direction for RWJF's Generalist Physician Initiative

The Foundation's Generalist Physician Initiative was designed to challenge schools of medicine--in collaboration with state governments, private insurers, HMOs, hospitals, and community health centers--to increase the supply of generalist physicians.Under this grant, this initiative's National Program Office will conduct two, two-day workshops to provide grantees information regarding administrative policy and procedures and technical assistance in primary care disciplines (medical school admissions, predoctoral program, the residency program, etc.). This will be complemented by site visits in addition to ongoing technical assistance.
