The purpose of this project is to provide an analysis of the most effective ways for tobacco policy research to be used and disseminated to a set of important audiences. The project will address how policy research can best inform policy development and implementation, describe the current state of affairs of dissemination of tobacco policy research, examine how policy research has influenced policy in the past, and make recommendations for effective use of the tobacco policy research sponsored by the Foundation and other organizations. The products will include several case studies and a report to the Foundation containing an analysis of effective dissemination strategies and recommendations.
