Research for publication on the history of drug policy from 1960 to 1990

The purpose of this project is a sequel to the book "The American Disease" which documents the history of American drug policy through 1960, considered a standard in the field. It will cover the time period from 1960 to 1990 including necessary historical research, including exclusive interviews and document review. This manuscript will make a substantial contribution to the country's understanding of developments in American drug policy.
