The Foundation's program, New Jersey Health Initiatives, was designed to support projects in New Jersey that develop new approaches to resolving the state's health care needs, focusing on the Foundation's goal areas.This grant supports continued technical assistance and direction for the Foundation's New Jersey Health Initiatives. Nine of the original fourteen grants remain active under the Initiatives. The principal objectives are to: (1) assist the grantees in identifying resources for continuing their projects; (2) make site visits to each of the nine active locations; (3) conduct two meetings with members of state government and providers to discuss replication of projects; and (4) work with the Foundation Communications Office to disseminate the major findings under the Initiatives.
