The Foundation's Health Policy Fellowships Program was designed to allow midcareer health professionals and behavioral and social scientists to experience a one-year residency in Washington, D.C., working for a member of Congress on health policy.This grant provides stipend and benefit support of Health Policy Fellow Kenneth B. Chance, DDS, for his one-year fellowship in Washington, D.C., to gain an understanding of major policy issues and how they are addressed in our political system. The program is conducted by the Institute of Medicine, and provides Fellows with a three-month orientation, followed by a nine-month work assignment in the office of a member of Congress or of the Executive Branch.
