The Foundation's Program to Strengthen Primary Care Health Centers is aimed at improving the small health center's overall management and stability.This grant will enable the Center to: (1) maximize revenue from current services by reviewing and revising the current fee scale and charging patterns; (2) improve financial management information by developing and implementing an accrual, cost-based accounting system; (3) enhance the accounts receivable management and reporting systems; and (4) increase the center's users per year by conducting market research and assessment, and public advertising about the center. Patient encounters for the three years are projected to increase from 24,500 to 34,500 and patient fee revenue is projected to rise from $333,925 to $497,490 for the same period.
