Faculty Fellowships in Health Care Finance - Philip S. DiSalvio, Ed.D.

The Foundation's Faculty Fellowships in Health Care Finance program was designed to permit selected university faculty to enhance their research ability and expertise in the area of health care finance.The purpose of this project is to conduct research on variations in the financial performance of not-for-profit system hospitals and not-for-profit, free-standing hospitals following Medicare prospective payment. The primary objectives are: (1) collect data from the American Hospital Association and Health Care Investment Analysts, Inc..; and (2) analyze the financial performance of not-for-profit MIO hospitals and free-standing hospitals.
