The Foundation's Dementia Care and Respite Services Program was designed to expand the availability of dementia-specific day programs, other community and in-home respite services, and related health and supportive services.This Phase II grant will enable the project to determine whether it can expand provision of day programs and other respite and health-related services needed by people with dementia and their caregivers in a financially viable manner. To accomplish this, the grantee will: (1) expand DeKalb census to 26 participants per day by end of year 4; (2) increase private pay percentage at center by relocating; (3) increase in-home respite hours to 12,684 by end of year 4; and (4) obtain private pay revenues totaling $161,617 by end of year 4, as well as decrease reliance on non-operating revenue to 20 percent of total operating expenses.
