Manuscript on the AIDS epidemic in New York City

This program contract supports Stephen C. Joseph, M.D., former health commissioner of New York City, to prepare a manuscript for publication on the AIDS epidemic in New York City. The manuscript will describe in detail the public health and public policy issues raised by the AIDS epidemic in New York City, concentrating on the period from 1986 to 1990. The manuscript is intended for public health professionals, policymakers, and the informed general readers. Completion of the manuscript is anticipated in the summer of 1990.
