Symposium honoring minority students program at Harvard Medical School

This grant provides partial support for the planned symposium honoring the 20th anniversary of the Program for Minority Students at Harvard Medical School which will be co-sponsored by several other foundations. The goal is to bring together students, residents, and alumni with national figures to exchange ideas; to provide a review of the program's problems and accomplishments; and to announce future objectives especially as related to Harvard's commitment to play a leadership role in addressing the problems of education for minority clinicians and scientists and the delivery of health care. Media representatives are expected.
