Conference on recruiting physicians for underserved communities
The goal of this conference is to increase awareness of the severity of the problem of physician recruitments and retention for underserved communities. The conference will bring together medical students, educators, and practicing physicians interested in this problem. It is anticipated that a mentor network of practicing physicians for medical students and residents will be initiated as a result of this conference. The proceedings of the conference will be published.
