Technical assistance and direction for RWJF's Harold Amos Medical Faculty Development Program
The Foundation's Harold Amos Medical Faculty Development Program was designed to provide four-year postdoctoral research awards offered to historically disadvantaged physicians who are committed to developing careers in academic medicine, to improving the health of underserved populations, and to furthering the understanding and elimination of health disparities.Appointments of physicians in this program underwrite four years of training for each Fellow and grants include a research allowance as well as stipend support. Harold Amos, Ph.D., Department of Microbiology and Molecular Genetics, Harvard Medical School, will continue to provide technical assistance for this program.
