The Foundation's Harold Amos Medical Faculty Development Program was designed to provide four-year postdoctoral research awards offered to historically disadvantaged physicians who are committed to developing careers in academic medicine, to improving the health of underserved populations, and to furthering the understanding and elimination of health disparities.In December 1988, the Foundation authorized an increase of up to $50,000 per year in the stipend level of Fellows participating in the Harold Amos Minority Medical Faculty Development Program with annual 5 percent increases. This award represents the adjustment for Dr. Ted Love.
