The Foundation's AIDS Health Services Program was designed for the establishment of specialized comprehensive health and supportive services for victims of AIDS and AIDS-related disorders.This is the second-phase grant under the four-year AIDS Health Services Program. Among the major objectives for the remaining two years of the project are: (1) to increase in-home care for indigent PWAs by 10 percent per year; (2) to establish an institutional hospice by the end of the first year; (3) to increase the number of volunteers by 20 percent per year; and (4) to add at least 2 new service sites in non-gay settings per year. In addition, the project intends to establish itself as an independent non-profit corporation by the end of the grant period.
