Program to Promote Long-Term Care Insurance for the Elderly

The Foundation's Program to Promote Long-Term Care Insurance for the Elderly was designed to stimulate private/public partnerships at the state level for the development of long-term care insurance for the elderly.This is a planning grant to develop a long-term care insurance initiative. The objectives are to: (1) develop a long-term care database and a model for public/private partnership for long-term care insurance by conducting computer simulations; (2) conduct a public education campaign; and (3) develop a proposal for a demonstration program. This project is one of eight planning grants funded under the Program to Promote Long-Term Care Insurance for the Elderly.
