Nursing on the Human Capital Blog

The RWJF Human Capital Blog features nursing news and perspectives several times each week, as well as information on RWJF-supported programs and people.

Read nurse-authored posts that are part of the Blog’s Health Care in 2013 series, including posts by: Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) Senior Adviser for Nursing Susan B. Hassmiller, whose New Year’s resolution is to help nurses do more for patients; RWJF Executive Nurse Fellow Jean Giddens, who blogged about nurse education; RWJF Nursing and Health Policy Collaborative at the University of New Mexico Fellow Lisa Palucci, who resolves to help make health care more equitable in 2013; and Olga Yakusheva, a grantee of the RWJF Interdisciplinary Nursing Quality Research Initiative, who compares her treatment for a broken arm 30 years ago in Kazakhstan to the care her daughter received for the same injury in the United States this summer.

See posts by RWJF Nurse Faculty Scholars Laurie Theeke on the loneliness of caregiving and E. Alison Holman on the gun violence in Newtown; and by RWJF New Careers in Nursing Deputy Program Director Vernell DeWitty, who blogged about the PBS series Call the Midwife.
