Fast Company magazine has published its annual "United States of Innovation" list for 2011, and has chosen Health Leads as its representative for the state of Massachusetts.

Here's an excerpt from the story:

“For the past 15 years, the not-for-profit Health Leads has been redefining medical care. In its holistic model, doctors can prescribe food, job training, and housing aid as easily as pharmaceuticals.”

Each year, the business journal with an annual print circulation of approximately 750,000 “spotlights bold ideas in all 50 states (plus Washington, D.C.) that promise to enrich our cities and economies."
