Most Wellness Policies Don't Restrict the Marketing of Unhealthy Products

On the first day of the 2007–08 school year, about 25 percent of students were enrolled in districts with policies discouraging or prohibiting the marketing of unhealthy foods and beverages at school, even though the Child Nutrition and WIC Reauthorization Act of 2004 did not require such policies.
